LAFF 2014: Red Carpet Interviews with Frederick Mensch and Elliott Lester for ‘Nightingale’

In one of the most powerful performances by David Oyelowo, “Nightingale” had its premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival with glowing reviews for the one-man performance.

The psychological drama is about a former Iraq War veteran recording his conversations and posting them online. The conversations, both to the computer and via phone to others, unravel the demented lonely man on his relationship with his mother and his adoration with an old army friend.

Latino-Review caught up with the director Elliott Lester and scriptwriter Frederick Mensch on the red carpet last week.
