Well, you can throw out any of the speculation I threw out a couple pieces ago regarding the Thursday release of Avengers: Infinity War. It looks like Marvel Studios has pulled a fast one on us, and released a brand new trailer tease for us to salivate over.

Furthermore, it looks like the trailer won’t be hitting on Thursday as assumed, but rather tomorrow. This new trailer tease capitalizes on the universe built over the course of the past nine years, as well as the internet culture that’s popped up around it all to speculate on its every move.

In the tease, we see YouTubers from all around reacting to trailers for previous Marvel Cinematic Universe films cut together alongside clips from all the movies in the franchise. It all culminates to the impending trailer for the 19th film in the long-running series, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

While I’m normally one to let studios play their cards as they feel like it, I can’t help but get a little anxious at the prospect of having a brand new Avengers: Infinity War trailer in less than 24 hours. It all gets me a little glassy-eyed as I reflect back to April of 2007, when I thought that the Iron Man movie was only a month away (I was wrong. The movie was still a year away from its release). While I was excited to see Tony Stark realized on the big screen for the first time, little could I (or anyone) have realized how much of an influence it would be on the film world.

Are you excited for the Avengers: Infinity War trailer? Let us know down below!

Marvel marketing really laying down the hype…and this teaser literally cost nothing to make! Damn, guys – what a way to build the anticipation

    • Kratos

teasers for trailers…smh…y’know they could’ve just quietly threw it up online at 12 noon today and within 5 minutes it would’ve been the # 1 trend on twitter

      • TheOct8pus

For real. Teasers for teasers and so much hype for just the trailer! This is probably the most anticipated trailer since The Phantom Menace

        • Kratos

yeh and remember how the movie turned out.

          • TheOct8pus

I can’t respond to this comment. My girlfriend and I vowed to never speak of the Phantom Menace again….

          • Kratos

            marry that woman.

          • TheOct8pus

            I did….she’s my ex-wife now….hahaaaa

at least you will always have the pod race. I was dating a girl who laughed at the Yoda fight in episode 2. I had to dumped her after she wanted to watch anime instead of Chuck Jones cartoons while at art school.

        • Nattown

I think Force Awakens might out do Phantom Menace.

  • Kratos

i’ve seen the shitty phone camera versions and read the numerous descriptions of the D23 footage….so i hope its at least a solid 2.5 to 3 minutes of new stuff.

  • Normally, I’m not a fan of teasers of trailers, but if you’re gonna do it, this is how it’s done. Marvel does a great job of including the fanbase, and this preview nails it. Can’t wait until tomorrow!

  • Momitchell

Are you guys for real? That was the cheesiest, goofiest thing I’ve seen in a while… scenes of a bunch of nerdgasms over trailers? Come on…

    • Victor Roa

and then on top of that these are probably the only youtubers who signed a release paper and contract that would prevent them for making any more videos of marvel content.

  • Nattown

In all seriousness – no snarky LRM comment – there’s A LOT to learn from Marvel’s marketing.

  • Victor Roa

ugh, had to physically skip the reaction shots.
just remind me of the red letter media skits about fanboys

I would rather see fanboys who bake cakes instead, because that takes skill and it’s yummy.
But yeah, once that shot of Spider-Man saying “I’m sorry Tony” is going to have a lot of Youtubers melt down.
