JUSTICE LEAGUE has added another name to its growing cast, and that would be Welsh actor Julian Lewis Jones (INVICTUS). The 48 year old thespian will be playing an unknown role in the Zack Snyder-directed epic, and the film will undoubtedly be the biggest project he’s been a part of. Just how big? Well, the actor was asked about who he’d be playing and his answer revealed exactly what he thinks of the size and scale of this Warner Bros. production.
“I’m not allowed to say yet what part I play but let’s just say I’ve a role in what will likely be the most expensive film ever made,” he told Wales Online. “It was filmed at Warner Brother’s studio at Leavesden as well as at various locations around the UK and Iceland,” Jones added. “Directed by Zack Snyder it stars Ben Affleck, Jeremy Irons and a host of A-list actors. I’m just happy to have been involved and I’m looking forward to the movie’s release which will be next year.“
It’s funny that Jones felt a need to comment on how expensive the lavish production must be, considering Warner Bros. just had to contend with a ton of added coverage about the fact that BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE was extremely pricey but didn’t earn the kind of profit the studio had hoped for. Jones, while likely speaking figuratively in his above comments, probably shouldn’t continue telling the press how much cash Warner Bros. is throwing at JUSTICE LEAGUE and stick to saying how great it’ll be. That’s the kind of press this film needs.
JUSTICE LEAGUE is filming now, with a November 17, 2017 release date locked in.
