Next Year’s Arrowverse Crossover Is Crisis On Infinite Earths! [VIDEO]

The folks over at the CW keep on trying to top themselves with these crossovers every year. This year perhaps saw their most ambitious one in the form of Elseworlds, which introduced Ruby Rose’s take on the Batwoman character. The crossover has only just ended, and The CW has already teased things to come in next year’s crossover.

In the closing scene of the final part of the Elseworlds event, Oliver gets a call from Batwoman, who teases the maniacal Anti-Monitor, who comic readers may recognize as the main baddie in the Crisis on Infinite Earths event. And even if you aren’t a reader, you don’t really need to guess since they plaster the logo right after we see the character.

This is a big deal because for several seasons The Flash has been teasing Barry’s death, and readers know that this event saw the character’s heartbreaking demise — along with Supergirl’s. Of course, these are all just adaptations, so it’s very possible that neither character will meet their maker by the end here, but you never know. These shows have seemingly started to run their course, and if The CW wanted to end things before they got old, this could be an opportunity to kill two birds (literally) with one stone.

What did you think of this tease? Do you think Barry or Kara will die in 2019? let us know your thoughts down below!
