It looks like Sylvester Stallone has been spotted heading to the set for GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2, a report from the NY Daily News claims.
According to the outlet, the CREED star was seen leaving a hotel in Atlanta and entering a car usually assigned to Chris Pratt. What's more, Stallone was also photographed heading to the set holding what appears to be a script.

So what does this mean? I wouldn't rule out the idea of Stallone showing up in the film, but can't imagine it being more than just a cameo appearance. That being said, this is the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so were he to show up in even the most minor of roles, that would definitely solidify him in the canon. The Daily News report goes on to speculate that Stallone could be taking the role of Peter Quill's father--though, let's be real, that's not happening. While actor Kurt Russell hasn't been officially confirmed to play that role, it would be awfully strange for director James Gunn to pull a bait and switch like that.
And of course, we can't rule out the possibility that Stallone is just visiting the set. Who knows? Actors know filmmakers and other actors, so it's not entirely impossible that he could've been visiting the set to see a friend, so this all could be much about nothing.
