Welp, it was bound to happen at some point. As is the case with pretty much every other movie out there, it was only a matter of time before Pokémon: Detective Pikachu made its way on the web. We figured, as responsible journalists, we’d share you the entire damn movie. Since we love this stuff, why bother supporting it or respecting official releases?

The leaked movie came to our attention when actor Ryan Reynolds posted a link to the video on YouTube, @ing Warner Bros and the official Detective Pikachu Twitter account. Hilariously enough, if you look at the watermark on the video, it shows Ryan Reynolds’ name, meaning he was the one who leaked the thing in the first place. Check out the tweet below:

The video in question starts off with the logos for all the relevant companies working on the movie. We then get introduced to the dark and neon-laden world of Ryme City, where our lead Tim is walking through the streets. It gives us a dark and moody atmosphere that seems fitting given the mystery angle.

Smash cut to Pikachu dancing to some random song for one hour and forty-five minutes.

Yup, when all said and done, it was just another hilarious publicity stunt in the vein of what we’d expect from a Deadpool movie. Well done, Ryan Reynolds and team! Well done!
