Ray Fisher gets real about the entire investigation.
When Ray Fisher first came forward with complaints about the set of Justice League, I knew there would be more to come. A lot of these things tend to boil under the surface, but Fisher’s attitude made it clear he wasn’t afraid of a very public battle with the film’s producers. And, based on everything that’s happened since then, it’s very clear the studio hasn’t appreciated it.
Last week, Warner Bros. claimed that Fisher has not cooperated with the third-party investigator in the case. Fisher was quick to rebut that on Twitter, sharing an email he claimed to send to his team and SAG-AFTRA in late August.
“Just got off the line with the investigator. Had to end the interview early before going into detail with him. He’s definitely been put on by Warner Bros. Pictures, not Warner Media. His findings will go directly to Warner Bros. Pictures Legal,” the email read. “He also had another person on the line as a witness which we weren’t made aware of. I told him I needed to have a rep on the line as security for myself. He tried to keep me on the line, but I told him I would need to consult my team before proceeding.”
Thank you all for the support and for seeing through @wbpictures desperate and scattershot attempt to discredit me to continue protecting those in power.
I met with the investigator via Zoom on Aug 26th. Below is an email I sent to my team and @sagaftra immediately after:

It’s clear, based on the comments from Ray Fisher, that the investigation and back-and-forth is heating up between Fisher and Warner Bros.

“I am in shock and awe that Warner Bros. would have even had the audacity to put out a statement like that,” Fisher said on an Instagram video as a follow-up. “They set themselves up for a lot of issues. They do not know how many receipts I have for interactions that I’ve had. They do not know the people I’ve been talking to. They do not know a lot of people I have that are willing and able to take part in the investigation. And that, unfortunately, is going to jam them up in a big way.”
He lamented that Warner Bros. would likely throw someone under the bus for that public statement.
“That seems to be the way. And what I said Walter Hamada throwing Joss Whedon and Jon Berg under the bus is absolutely true. But as seems to be the way, they probably intend to throw somebody’s poor assistant under the bus for being the one who had to press ‘send’ on that email. And that’s unfortunately how it goes. It’s gross. It’s really gross.”

From there, Fisher detail his exchanges with Walter Hamada, and stated that Hamada had a hard time believing that Geoff Johns would do the things Fisher claimed.

“I go, ‘Walter, you weren’t there. I’m telling you, you weren’t. You were not there when the man used backchannel communication to call me into his office and made a veiled threat to my career. You weren’t there for that. Johns contacted me in 2018, a year and a half after Justice League, to gloat that there’d be another Cyborg being used in the DC Universe in a show that he’s producing.’”
Fisher then said that Warner Bros.’ comments against him made it necessary for him to be more public. His future public comments will not be restricted to what happened on the set of Justice League, but how things were handled by the studio up until this point. Fisher then reiterated that he would not stop fighting, and that there were plenty other insiders who encouraged him to continue.
“I’m gonna fight it with harsh fact,” Fisher continued. “I’m not gonna fight it with emotion like they’re probably wanting me to do.”
