After two weeks of its release, Willy’s Wonderland is still one of the most talked-about and recommended horror movies. Actresses Beth Grant and Emily Tosta knew instantaneously there’ll be a cult phenomenon with this horror film.
The film stars the Hollywood fixture, Nicolas Cage, in the lead role as The Janitor in Willy’s Wonderland. As The Janitor, he had one simple job—clean up an abandoned family fun center restaurant while battling blood-thirsty animatronics. That’s right. Blood-thirsty murderous animatronics.
Here’s the official synopsis:
A quiet loner (Cage) finds himself stranded in a remote town when his car breaks down. Unable to pay for the repairs he needs, he agrees to spend the night cleaning Willy’s Wonderland, an abandoned family fun center. But this wonderland has a dark secret that the “The Janitor” is about to discover. He soon finds himself trapped inside Willy’s and locked in an epic battle with the possessed animatronic mascots that roam the halls. To survive, he must fight his way through each of them.
The film also stars Emily Tosta, Beth Grant, Ric Reitz, and Chris Warner. Kevin Lewis directed the movie from a script written by G.O. Parsons.
