Wanna know the current Eternals RT score? Check that out along with a review roundup from a variety of outlets before. It would be fair to say not everyone has loved Eternals so far. In fact we have quite a difference of opinion of many reviewers. There are of course far more reviews out there. I merely chose a selection of the over 40 current reviews of the movie. However first off, lets check out the RT score shall we?
Eternals is currently sitting at 71% fresh at time of publishing, with 41 reviews. That would make Eternals one of the lowest scoring Marvel movies. Although, these scores can and will change as more reviews come in. Frankly, I am always more interested in audience scores. After all, we all have very individual tastes. Often I don’t even agree with the reviewers on LRM never mind with other outlets. Let’s check out some of those reviews shall we?

Definitely some diverse opinions. However you don’t get much of a feeling that any one covered here absolutely loved Eternals. Reading a bit more detail, the general negatives seem to be how expository and straightforward some of Eternals is. The positives as I see it are those who feel like reducing the action and getting into these characters was fun and the lore being built was excellent.
Some have complained that the third act doesn’t quite live up to the promise of what comes before, but again, that’s not Universal. However, this was a movie that Marvel were hyping far more than the recent Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Oscar winning director and early rumors that Marvel fancied this movie for awards season seem far away from the gist of most reviews. The general consensus is that Eternals is an ok movie, but it’s not anything special.
