Today we are playing a game, which No Way Home mystery character is Tom Holland talking about? Holland recently teased a cool scene when speaking with Empire for their latest issue. Holland describes the scene, but says there is one mystery character in that scene he cannot reveal. Now of course we all probably know all the Spider-Man: No Way Home rumors by now. It seems highly unlikely that these rumors are all wrong.
That means so far we have many roles still to be revealed. Probably most notably is both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, both rumored to be back as their own Peter Parkers. However we also have Willem Defoe’s Green Goblin, Sandman, and The Lizard all pretty much confirmed to be back. Then there is the rumor that Charlie Cox makes an appearance as Matt Murdock in the MCU for the first time.
Here is Empire‘s coverage of what Holland had to say.
But in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home, the actor tells Empire that he filmed “one of the coolest scenes I’ve ever shot” – a sequence including a character he wasn’t at liberty to divulge.
What he could say is that the scene features his Peter Parker, Marisa Tomei’s Aunt May, and Jon Favreau’s Happy Hogan – along with a mystery fourth character. “It’s four people sitting at a table, having a conversation about what it’s like to be a superhero, and it was amazing,” Holland tells Empire. “The other day we watched the scene, my brother and I, and our jaws were on the floor.” Cue all the speculation about who that fourth chair belongs to.
The fan favorite right now seems to be Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock. However, given how cool Holland thought it all was, I suspect Tobey Maguire’s version of Parker might be a better fit. I guess we will only know for sure once we see that scene play out. I would definitely doubt it is another Avenger, nor Strange, nor any of the villains. So that for me leaves us with Cox, Maguire, or Garfield?
