MAPPA brought an exciting trailer and first peek images to share with attendees at Anime Expo 2023’s Crunchyroll Stage. Panelists included production staff such as Manabu Ostuka and Makato Kimura, as well as Hell’s Paradise director, Kaori Makita.
Huge excitement filled the panel as the audience began anticipating big news regarding the finale to one of the most popular anime’s in over a decade. That excitement was met during the closing moments of the panel as Attack on Titan took center stage in discussion. Attack on Titan will finally be wrapping up its almost 10 year run, and the audience was given a sneak peek at the trailer for the upcoming finale, which you can view HERE.
Also, Hell’s Paradise season 2 is in production. The popularity and excitement around the finale the first season, which had aired the day prior to this panel had the audience full of anticipation for anything they could gleam from the upcoming season.

The panel was given a treat when MAPPA shared an image of a significant character for Season 2. The panelists were happy to share what they could about the projects being worked. They expressed their excitement for the fans to see the finished products.

This was my first panel as a member of the press. It was amazing to cover such an exciting panel with enthusiastic fans and dedicated creators. The Crunchyroll stage was definitely the place to be.
