Alexandra Meistrell is the showrunner of the documentary Beauty Queen Killer: 9 Days of Terror, from Ample Entertainment on Hulu. Unlike other factual films of Christopher Wilde, for the first time his victim, Tina Marie Risico brings her own lived narrative of the nine days in survival mode next to the Beauty Queen Killer, Wilde.
The Synopsis
The Beauty Queen Killer delves into the stories of the women who survived serial killer Christopher Wilder’s 47-day rampage in 1984 when he targeted, kidnapped, raped and killed young aspiring models. This series gives voice to survivor Risico, who was kidnapped from a mall and endured 9 grueling days under the killer’s control while being forced to help him abduct another teen and bear witness to his brutality.
The Alexandra Meistrell started her journey with documentaries in the editorial department. As a writer and producer she has worked on Hard Time, Our America with Lisa Ling and Dark Net. Captive Audience and How to Change Your Mind are a couple of her most recent projects as a producer.

Meistrell shared being part of the interview process with Tina Marie Risico and how it was best to handle. As well as the subjects that were not easy to get involved to provide the other side of the story. In addition to the set back in the investigations due to the slow technology and more!
