It won’t be long till Marvel’s Wonder Man hits screens and today we are sharing the rumoured episode lengths, plus a new spot for the series. January 27, 2026 is the premiere date for Wonder Man on Disney+. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II stars alongside Trevor Slattery, sorry, (Ben Kingsley playing Trevor) and we shared the full trailer when it dropped. You can catch that below in the related section if you have not yet seen it. However, today, let’s start with a new official clip from the show.
There’s still not too much here which says, ‘you need to watch this’. I probably will watch it, only because it’s Marvel. Had it not been Marvel, I’m not sure I’d be checking this out day one. I’d instead be waiting for positive word of mouth like any new show, (unless it captures my attention). I’m not sure if there’s anything new here not in the full trailer, but it’s definitely the same vibe.
Look, as always, I hope it’s fun. I just don’t see any non-Marvel fans rushing to subscribe to Disney+ for this one.

We also have the rumoured runtimes for each episode below. As always we say rumoured with these, but they tend to be genuine leaks. What we don’t know is how many episodes we will get on the premiere date? All Marvel series have worked differently, some have doubles up front, some in the middle, some at the end. However, in a general sense, expect it to be weekly starting January 27.

It’s also easy to work out what criticism this will get from some fans online. The episodes runtimes are too short, a common criticism of Marvel TV series. Yet, you can never actually define that until you see the story being presented. If runtimes could be ten minutes longer then we’ll judge that in January. However, as with anything, maybe the length of the episodes is good as is? We’ll need to wait and see.
Either way, I’m still waiting to see something which says, ‘watch me in January’ when it comes to Wonder Man. As said above, I just can’t see many people getting too excited over this one unless they follow every MCU project. Therefore, I wonder how the marketing may shift once we get closer to release?
What do you think of the runtimes for Wonder Man and the new spot? Thoughts below as usual.
