Pixar’s anticipated sequel, Incredibles 2, is slated for a June 2018 release date, though we surprisingly have very little to show for it in terms of marketing material. So far, we’ve seen a very short teaser, we have some character descriptions, as well as one poster. However, it sounds like they’ve at least started to release some other random posters out in the wild, as evidenced by a recent Twitter post.

As you can see in the photo above, a new poster brings back the fan-favorite character Edna Mode, who is the mastermind behind the superhero family’s supersuits.
Of course, there’s very little revealed in this poster, but it’s great to see that Golden Age aesthetic return, and I can’t help but love the high contrast image there. More than anything, I want to know why Disney hasn’t sent us these in hi-res form yet (What up, Disney?).
Below is the official synopsis for Incredibles 2:
“Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in Incredibles 2 – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life/ It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again – which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.”
