Lovecraft Country is based on the 2016 novel by Matt Ruff, adapted by Misha Green. It follows Atticus Black, his friend Letitia, and Uncle George as they take a road trip across 1950s Jim Crow America in search of Black’s missing father. The horrors they encounter on their journey come from both racism of white America and monsters that could have come from a Lovecraft paperback.
