It’s being tagged as real fear in real time. So it must be the most terrifying hour for this young woman.

Open Road Films released the theatrical trailer for the upcoming horror movie “Silent House.”

The film stars Elizabeth Olsen, Adam Trese and Eric Sheffer Stevens.

Here is a brief synopsis of the film:

Sarah is a young woman who finds herself sealed inside her family’s secluded lake house. With no contact to the outside world, and no way out, panic turns to terror to terror as events become increasingly ominous in and around the house.

The film is directed by Chris Kentis (“Open Water,” “Grind”) and Laura Lau. Lau wrote the English screenplay adaptation based off the Gustavo Hernandez’s Uruguay film “The Silent House.”

The original plot is based on a true story that happened in the late 1940’s in a small village in Uruguay.

Open Road Films will release the horror movie in theaters on March 9.
