Zachary Quinto Talks a Little Bit About ‘Star Trek’ Sequel

With J.J. Abrams’ “Star Trek” sequel production underway, actor Zachary Quinto will need to change into the Spock with the signature pointed ears, haircut and eyebrows.

E! Online interviewed Quinto at the Producers Guild Awards at the Beverly Hilton recently about the anticipated sequel.

“My eyebrows are shaved and I do my hair in a way that people don’t know I actually have my horrible Spock hair,” he joked about appearing in public. “It’s been really great. We’ve been shooting for a week and a half, and it’s been an incredible return to that world.”

Of course, Quinto was sworn to secrecy like the rest of the cast about the sequel’s plot. Otherwise, Abrams will use the Vulcan’s nerve pinch on the actor.

The actor did reveal that he just recently saw the script.

“It was the middle of December and finally I had to be like, ‘We need to read the script,’” he said.

And he did confirm the additional cast members to the film including Benedict Cumberbatch, Peter Weller and Alice Eve.

“All of them have folded in in so beautifully and brought a whole new level of intelligence and sensitivity,” he told E! Online.

So will there be Khan in the movie? Only if we could perform the Vulcan mind meld to find those juicy details.
