Invest into the future. Invest in Weyland Industries.

After the viral video for “Prometheus” featuring actor Guy Pearce as CEO Peter Weyland, the marketing staff is continuing with its viral push on it Weyland Industries web site.

The notable thing added on the web site was an infographic on the upcoming Project Prometheus. The infographic did not reveal too much information except that it will be launched in 2081 and Weyland Industries will be investing in half the project.

There is also a reference on the infographic about Cosmic Call 2. Cosmic Call was the name of interstellar radio messages sent to nearby stars. It appears we have received 3/5, according to the infographic.

There is also speculation on that the Prometheus project is privately funded. Maybe is could be the Yutani Corporation, which later merged with Weyland Industries in the 1986’s “Aliens” sequel.

Whatever all this mean—we’ll sure to find out soon enough.
