Pretty girls and action guys. Sure, that’s a good combination for a movie.

MTV News interviewed actor Bruce Willis about the upcoming sequel “G.I. Joe: Retaliation.”

Willis discussed a little bit on the background of his G.I. Joe character Joe Colton.

“Joe Colton is actually the original G.I. Joe,” he explained. “In the story, he started the outfit a long time ago.”

He also commended the cast for the sequel of this movie.

“We had such a great cast in this film. Really funny and strong. [There are] tough guys…..and pretty girls,” he said.

The Jon M. Chu-directed film also stars Dwayne Johnson, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Stevenson and Channing Tatum.

“G.I. Joe: Retaliation” will be in theaters on June 29.
