Exclusive Interview with ‘The Lords of Salem’ Director Rob Zombie

RobZombieMusician Rob Zombie made a nice transition into Hollywood by directing memorial horror films such as “Halloween,” “The Davil’s Rejects,” and “House of 1000 Corpses.”

In possibly his last horror film for now, Zombie is releasing “The Lords of Salem,” which stars Sheri Moon Zombie in the title role as Heidi Hawthorne.

The film follows Heidi, a radio DJ, who was mysteriously, sent a record of some strange music. She starts to experience flashbacks about the witches of Salem and strange things begin to happen to her.

Latino-Review had the opportunity for a one-on-one interview with Zombie for his movie. We discussed a variety of topics about the film, including the setting, the music and his research into the Salem Witch Trials. In addition, he also talked about his upcoming musical tour and his venture into a sports movie about his favorite hockey team, the Philadelphia Flyers.  And he hinted that “The Lords of Salem” will probably be his last horror film for quite some time.

“The Lords of Salem” will be in theaters this Friday, April 19.
