20th Century Fox made their mark at CinemaCon this with week with “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”
And the crowd loves it.
The returning cast members will be from both old and reboot franchises.  James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence will return from “X-Men: First Class.” They will join Patrick Stewart, Ian Mckellen, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry and Ellen Page from the original X-Men trilogy.
Latino-Review was able to attend and watch the Fox presentation.
SPOILER ALERT!!
Fox showed a three minute film clip from “X-Men: Days of Future Past.” It opens in a post apocalyptic world with a destroyed city.
Futuristic drop ships with sentinels flying over the city.  The sentinels look like metal slim statues.
It flashes to a few X-Men who are alerted to the sentinels in their underground bunker. This group of X-Men inculdes Kitty Pride, Bishop, Iceman, Blink, Colossus, Warpath and Sunspot.
There’s an impressive battle to stall the sentinels from stopping Bishop and Kitty Pride to teleport into the past.  Each of the X-Men woud sacrifice themselves to save the future.
So despite the large number of actors and characters, do not ecpect tons of screen time for many of them. Overall the action was pretty damn good as well as the sequences.
“X-Men: Days of Future Past” will be in theaters on May 23rd.
