Join Kyle and Brian as they discuss Final Fantasy VII Remake in full detail. Spoilers for this game and the original.

Final Fantasy 7 is a mythic game. Released in 1997, it quickly became a favorite amongst fans of the series and new players. This was the first FF game to not be on a Nintendo system and the first to offer full 3D details and full-motion video. Ever since the Playstation 2 increased graphics and realism over the original Playstation, fans have been asking for a remake of this classic game. Square-Enix instead released spin-offs like Crisis Core and a move called Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. They even teased us with a tech demo featuring the opening of FF7.

Finally, in 2015, Square-Enix revealed that they were indeed working on a ground-up remake of the original game. Fans’ minds exploded and created some of the best reaction videos on the internet. Seriously, dozens of grown men (some huge dudes too) crying over the realization their dreams were coming true. Fast forward five years and we finally got Final Fantasy VII Remake on April 10th of this year.

Kyle and Brian spent over 50 hours each playing and exploring every inch of this game. Join them in a full review including a chapter by chapter breakdown of the story, characters, and action.
