The tongue-in-cheek marketing for Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events continues in the new teaser for Season 2 of the series. In Season 1, Patrick Warburton’s Lemony Snicket would constantly implore the audience to look away from the atrocities they’re about to witness, and with Season 2, things look to get so much worse.
Per the new teaser (introduced and narrated by Neil Patrick Harris’ Count Olaf), this new season of streaming TV is set to have more villains, more schemes, more peril, more orphans, and more intentional fires than the last season.

Of course, the trailer features plenty of these types of scenes to go around, and if you liked the first season, it’s doubtful you’ll find much to dislike here, as it carries a lot of the same tone and style. As someone who never read the books, but adored the first season of the show, I’m very much looking forward to this upcoming season, and have little clue what sorts of peril awaits us going forward.
