A Thousand and One | Josiah Cross on Playing the Emotional Teen

Josiah Cross would never imagine it in a hundred years that he would land a role in A.V. Rockwell’s A Thousand and One.

The emotional story follows a story of a mother named Inez de la Paz with a child growing up through the 1990s. Cross played the child Terry at 17-years-old with two other young actors portraying the character at different stages of life.

Here is the official synopsis:

A Thousand and One follows unapologetic and free-spirited Inez, who kidnaps her six-year-old son Terry from the foster care system. Holding onto their secret and each other, mother and son set out to reclaim their sense of home, identity, and stability, in a rapidly changing New York City.

The film also stars Teyana Taylor (Coming 2 America), Will Catlett (The Devil You Know, The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey), Josiah Cross, Aven Courtney (Strive, Frankensitter), and Aaron Kingsley Adetola (Rise, The Tramps New World).

A.V. Rockwell (Feathers¸ The Gospel) directed and wrote the film.
