What Blizzard property would you like to see become a TV show? Keep in mind, we already had a dreadful Warcraft film. StarCraft, right? We all want to see the Protoss, Zerg, and Terrans attack each other! Right?

Well, sad day for me, as Variety is reporting that Diablo is the Blizzard property to be developed next, this time in the form of an animated Netflix series.

Earlier in the week, Boom! Studios founder Andrew Cosby tweeted that he is in “final talks” to write the show and be showrunner for the series from Activision and Netflix.  Though we have no official confirmation from Activision or Netflix, Cosby says the project is a go, with Variety stating that am official announcement is coming soon, though the news from Cosby does seem to be legit.

We don’t know exactly what the new series will entail, or in what style it will be animated – I’m actually hoping for a Castlevania type of animation – but Cosby has experience writing the new Hellboy film starring David Harbour.

Diablo is in the spotlight again, though it has always seemed to be since I was in middle school, as the Nintendo Switch will soon be getting Diablo III Eternal Collection on November 2.
