Aeon Flux Reboot Coming To MTV

Are you ready for some more 90’s nostalgia? Reboots are definitely in and MTV are looking to bring back Aeon Flux, although this time it will be live-action TV. The show had a three season animated series ranging from the early to mid 90’s.

The Walking Dead’s Ann Gale Hurd is set to produce the series, and many will also know Hurd from also producing the 2005 big-screen adaption starring Charlize Theron. Writing the script will be Teen Wolf’s Jeff Davis.

The live-action TV series looks to follow similar plot details. According to The Hollywood Reporter:

“The live-action series is set in a future dystopian state and revolves around a young assassin who teams with a group of biohacking rebels to save humanity as she becomes the hero known as Aeon Flux.”

I remember watching the animated series on MTV when I was younger and wondering what in the heck I was watching (probably shouldn’t have been watching it at the time, but I turned out alright). As for the live-action movie, well, it wasn’t quite the hit some were hoping for.

With that said, is Aeon Flux a reboot you would like to invest in, or is it one reboot too many?  Leave your thoughts in the usual place, and thanks for reading!
