Ahsoka Season 2 has wrapped filming according to one of its stars, Natasha Liu Bordizzo who shared the news on Instagram. Bordizzo reprises her role as Sabine Wren from Season 1, a role that began with another actor in the animated Rebels series.
Season 1 saw Sabine stranded alongside her Jedi master Ahsoka in another Galaxy. Season 2 will pick up both that story of Sabine and Ahsoka, stranded alongside enemies Baylan and Shin, as well as that of Thrawn, Hera and Ezra, now back in the main Galaxy.
Exactly what those conclusions will entail we have no idea? There’s been little to no leaks about the plot of Season 2 yet. You can check out the image Bordizzo posted of the reflection of Sabine and Ahsoka for yourself via the social media post below.

We don’t have a release date yet for Ahsoka Season 2, but we will get to see it sometime in 2026. Hayden Christensen also reprises his role of Anakin Skywalker who appeared to Ahsoka in the World Between Worlds and also as a Force Ghost.
Again, we have no idea what Anakin’s role will be in Season 2. However, I imagine it will be a similar sort of ethereal mentor vibe that we got in the first season. I just hope the experience is better than Season 1. I felt it all a little too simplistic and cartoony for my tastes. As always though, I hope I enjoy Season 2 when it hits.
So, Ahsoka Season 2 wraps filming according to Natasha Liu Bordizzo. Are you excited to see what they come up with for the second season? Thoughts below.
