Ahsoka Shoots In March Plus Rumored Production Schedule And Estimated Release Date | Barside Buzz

latest Ahsoka and Damon Lindelof Star Wars movie rumors

According to the latest Production Weekly, Ahsoka shoots in March of next year. However Bespin Bulletin have also added more details on the rumored production schedule including an estimated release date. The outlet says that they have heard that Ahsoka shoots in March but will continue into Fall of 2022. By their estimation, that means Ashoka could be ready to air on Disney+ by Summer of 2023. Of course, this is a Barside Buzz, so always keep your sodium levels topped up with any rumors.

However there’s nothing here that doesn’t line up with other little snippets I have heard, so my bet is this production schedule is pretty accurate. As for the estimated release date who knows? I don’t think that Disney’s only concern when to air a show is when it’s ready. Therefore whilst Ahsoka could be ready to go by Summer of 2023, there’s no guarantee Disney won’t hold it back till Fall? Again, this is all speculation on my part, I’m just not ready tp put all my eggs into the Summer ’23 basket yet.

Ahsoka

What I have heard is that Ashoka is the next Star Wars project booked into The Volume studio in LA. Currently The Mandalorian Season 3 is filming on that stage. It will therefore be interesting to see if The Mandalorian is still shooting into next year or not? We also know from PW that The Acolyte is to begin filming in May next year. All we know is that is also set to take place in the U.S. but other than that, where it shoots specifically isn’t clear.

We expect Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Bad Batch Season 2, Andor Season 1, and The Mandalorian Season 3 to be the four Star Wars projects next year. So far we have both Ahsoka and The Acolyte which are likely coming to screens in 2023. What else will film for 2023 remains to be seen currently.

What do you think of all this as Ashoka shoots in March and perhaps last until Fall ’22. Do you agree with the estimated release date of Summer ’23? As always, leave any thoughts below on this latest Barside Buzz.
