The Ahsoka teaser trailer shown today at Star Wars Celebration is here, and it has some serious Heir to the Empire vibes. Plus we have a new poster to share also. The following trailer was first shown today to live audiences alongside trailers for Skeleton Crew, Andor S2 and The Acolyte. However sadly for now none of those other trailers have been released online. I have seen them all though and will try to get an article together later describing what I saw unless they get dropped officially. For now though, Ahsoka.

Though it will come as no surprise to anyone we did get confirmation that Mary Elizabeth Winstead is playing Hera Syndulla, and you can see the character in this trailer.

We also have what I’d say is pretty convincing evidence that backs up a lot of the leaks around Ahsoka so far. Ray Stevenson’s character, supposedly named Baylon is here alongside what we are told is his apprentice Shin. Equally we heard that Morgan Elsbeth would return after her appearance in Mando Season 2 and we see her here in the trailer.

Of course one character we did not see in this trailer is Ezra Bridger, but we know Eman Esfandi plays the role. As for Grand Admiral Thrawn, we still didn’t get to see his face, only the back of his head. Ergo, we cannot say whether Lars Mikkelsen is back or not. I know we claimed he was a long time ago, but we await that being confirmed or not? You can find the latest Ahsoka leaks in the related section below. However be warned that I feel like these are very accurate although incomplete.

I’m extremely intrigued by this trailer. The fact they use the line “Heir to the Empire” within the trailer man! Plus, what we can see for ourselves really gives that vibe to me. I’m probably more interested in the story of Ahsoka than I am of whatever comes after the Sequel Trilogy. Oh, if we could only have had all this before they made those movies. It may have given them some great ideas for what comes next, sadly we’ll always have those crap movies.
