I’ll call this one a Barside Buzz because it’s not official in any way. However it looks like Ahsoka will film earlier than expected. The ever reliable Production Weekly, originally had Ashoka as beginning filming in March. However this week’s latest PW update see’s that changed to February. This probably means that filming on Mando S3 is going well. Therefore the Mando shoot will be finished quicker than originally expected. That would allow Ahsoka to movie into the studio to use The Volume stage in LA.
The listing has also now been updated with all the confirmed cast outside of titular star Rosario Dawson. Hayden Christensen, Ivanna Sakhno and Natasha Liu Bordizzo who will play Sabine Wren are all listed. I’m sure I do not need to explain who Hayden Christensen will play in Ahsoka? As for Sakhno all we know is that it’s a rumored brand new character created for the show.
If Ahsoka is ready to film next moth, then I’m guessing there are other roles been cast we have heard nothing about. Maybe we will find out more in the next fee weeks. Although Star Wars filming using The Volume has a reputation for being particularly secretive.

The only big rumor for the show so far was LRM reporting that both Mena Massoud and Lars Mikkelsen had been cast as Ezra and Thrawn respectively. However given their nature in this story I think it unlikely we will get any confirmation of either of those until they show up. We certainly do not claim to have any idea of how much Ezra or Thrawn may feature within Ahsoka. All we knew was that both actors had signed on the dotted line. Massoud had been rumored for a long time since talks began, initially by KRT when they were going.
