Ahsoka’s Epic Premiere To Feel More Like A Feature Film

Today we are sharing the latest Barside Buzz which claim to detail Ahsoka plot SPOILER rumors regarding Thrawn.

Looks like we will need to prepare for the Ahsoka two-episode premiere. The buzz around this highly anticipated show has reached a fever pitch, and now we finally have the much-awaited runtime information. According to Cryptic HD Quality, who is best known for 4k still and getting runtimes right, posted that the first two episodes of Ahsoka will run for an impressive combined time of 96 minutes and 36 seconds. This means viewers are in for a cinematic treat, as the premiere alone matches the length of some feature films.

For context, compared to previous Star Wars series premieres on Disney+ this seems to be a normal time. The second season of The Mandalorian treated fans to a 92-minute double-episode debut. The Book of Boba Fett premiered for 89 minutes during its opening two episodes. Also, the Obi-Wan Kenobi series claimed a 92-minute runtime for its first duo of episodes, coming close but ultimately falling short of Ahsoka’s premiere by 4 minutes.

The upcoming series will take place after the fall of the Empire, following Ahsoka’s journey and experiences in the post-Empire era. Fans of the Star Wars character remember her initial appearance in The Clone Wars animated series, where Ahsoka was brought to life through the talented voice acting of Ashley Eckstein. It was Rosario Dawson who continued the character arc of Ahsoka when she transitioned to live-action in the second season of The Mandalorian, which was a memorable moment for Star Wars fans.

Dave Filoni has played a pivotal role in creating Ahsoka’s character for The Clone Wars and has taken charge of penning all eight episodes of the upcoming new series.

The ensemble cast of Ahsoka features the talents of Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Ray Stevenson, Ivanna Sakhno, David Tennant, and Lars Mikkelsen.

For those eagerly awaiting the premiere, mark your calendars for August 23 when the first two episodes of Ahsoka will make their debut on Disney+. After this highly anticipated two-episode kickoff, Ahsoka will follow the tradition of other Star Wars series and release a new episode weekly until October 4.

The Force is strong with this one, and it promises to be an adventure of epic proportions. May the Force be with you as we await this thrilling new chapter in the ever-expanding Star Wars saga.
