Aiysha Hart Talks An Empowering Portrayal In Desert Warrior | INTERVIEW

An empowering female character comes to screen in the new Desert Warrior. Inspired by The Battle of Dhu Qar, also recognized as the War of the Camel’s Udder, from 604-611 AD between Arab tribes and the Persian Sasanian Empire. Among the cast includes Aiysha Hart and Anthony Mackie.

The Synopsis

Set in seventh-century Arabia, Princess Hind (Aiysha Hart, “Mogul Mowgli”) defies her fate, refusing to become a concubine to the ruthless Emperor Kisra (Sir Ben Kingsley, “Sexy Beast”). Fleeing into the desert with her father, she is hunted by a merciless army and forced to trust a legendary bandit (Anthony Mackie, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”) with secrets of his own. Rising from fugitive to fearless warrior, Hind unites warring tribes for a final stand—the Battle of Dhi Qar, a clash that will change history forever.

Aiysha Hart was born in London, England. The daughter of a British mother and Saudi Arabian father on August 8th, 1990. Hart is known not only for her career as an actress, but also for activism by taking part in the 2024 plea to end the Gaza War. She is known for Line of Duty, Colette and Mogul Mowgli. The Last Disturbance of Madeline Hynde and The Thomas Crown Affair with Michael B. Jordan are just  two of her upcoming projects.
