W0RLDTR33 from James Tynion IV and Fernando Blanco is having all the issues that have been released so far set to be reprinted as demand for the issues continues to be very high. It’s another runaway hit for the Eisner-winning Tynion much like his series Something Is Killing the Children for Boom Studios. That series has spawned a successful tie-in title with House of Slaughter as well as a live-action adaption from Netflix. Will W0RLDTR33 follow suit and have more titles in this universe and appear in other media? Only time will tell, but based on these reprints, which include a fifth printing for the first issue, it seems a safe bet. EVERY ISSUE SO FAR OF W0RLDTR33 RUSHED BACK TO PRINT THIS WEEK |
PORTLAND, Ore. 08/30/2023 — Multiple issues of James Tynion IV & Fernando Blanco’s bestselling W0RLDTR33 are being rushed back to print this week in order to keep up with escalating demand. W0RLDTR33 issues #1-4 reprints will hit shelves this September. This fifth printing of the popular debut issue will put the order numbers on the title at up over 150K copies and makes it the second of Tynion IV’s Image series to go into a fifth printing. “James and Fernando are at the top of their game witih this series, and anyone who has read these first five issues will tell you it’s been thrilling to watch this disturbing world take shape,” said Eric Stephenson, Publisher at Image Comics. “The reception for this book has been nothing short of astounding, but just like The Department of Truth before it, the demand for additional copies has been relentless.” Tynion IV added: “I really can’t believe the continued support you’ve all shown this book, as it grows and finds its audience. W0RLDTR33 is going to be on the stands for many years to come, and it’s a thrill for Fernando, Jordie, Aditya, and I to see it find so many more new readers every month.” The W0RLDTR33 series kicks off with an unimaginable atrocity in the present day that has roots back in 1999, when Gabriel, Amanda, Liam, Yoshi, and Darren discovered what they dubbed the Undernet—a secret architecture beneath the internet. They charted their exploration of the Undernet on a private message board called W0RLDTR33. Then they lost control…and unleashed unimaginable horrors.
