The series, Modern Love, is returning. Earlier today, Amazon Prime Video released the trailer for the upcoming season 2. Modern Love is based on true stories from The New York Times’ column and podcast of the same name.
Amazon Prime’s synopsis:
Love breaks all the rules. This anthology series explores love in all of its complicated and beautiful forms. Each episode brings to life a different story that has been inspired by the New York Times’s popular Modern Love column. A collection of stories about relationships, connections, betrayals and revelations.
Season 2 of Modern Love stars Kit Harington, Lucy Boynton, Tobias Menzies, and Sophie Okonedo. The second season also stars Minnie Driver, and Anna Paquin and will release on Amazon Prime Video on August 13. Additionally, just like season 1, season 2 will have eight episodes.

Some of the cast members of Modern Love Season 2 are also starring in some other interesting projects that will be released this year. Kit Harington will also be starring in Eternals as Dane Whitman. The movie will release on November 5. Also, Sophie Okonedo is cast in the series, Wheel of Time, as Siuan Sanche. Although Wheel of Time doesn’t have an official release date yet, the series is expected to release sometime this year. Lastly, Minnie Driver will be playing Queen Beatrice in Cinderella 2021. Cinderella was released on February 4 in Brazil and will be released on September 2 in the US.
