The DC Extended Universe has never really been the picture of stability. While Warner Bros. gave it the old college try by announcing an ambitious film slate that spanned several years and nearly 10 films, immediately following the release of Batman v Superman, it became clear they’d need to make some changes if they wanted to be successful.
But what kind of changes? Well, based on the slate of 105 films currently in development, it’s hard to say, but with Birds of Prey and Batgirl currently gaining momentum, and rumors surrounding the Man of Steel being sidelined indefinitely, it’s very clear it’ll be a much different beast than when it was originally announced. So different, in fact, that actress Amy Adams doesn’t think she’s in it anymore, as she revealed to fellow actress Nicole Kidman.
“I think I’m out of the DC Universe now. I think they’re revamping that. I don’t know the details.”
