An Ovation For The Dolph Lundgren-Directed Command Performance? | I’d Buy That For A Dollar

I’m Stephon White and this is I’d Buy That For A Dollar! Each week, we visit our local stores DVD department and dive into the bargain bin. Are the movies we find worth the dollars we spent? Are they even worth a dollar? You’ll have to find out each week!

This week, I am joined by fellow LRM Online contributing writer Nick Doll to review the 2009 Dolph Lundgren directed film, Command Performance. The film was also written by and stars Dolph Lundgren. You might know him from his role in the Universal Soldier franchise where he started the ear necklace trend, or possibly the 2016 horror film, Don’t Kill It (Oh yeah, and Rocky IV). Little known fact: Lundgren plays the drums in real life. So, his Command Performance performance is legit.

Check out the synopsis below for yourself.

A former soldier, now a drummer, is about to perform in front of the Russian premier on a charity concert. The event turns bloody when armed criminals storm the premises and take the president and a pop-star hostage.

Time to find out if this film is worth a dollar. Remember to like, comment, and subscribe so you can stay up to date on new episode releases.
