In a thrilling midseason celebration of Lucasfilm’s Ahsoka on Disney+, fans were treated to the long-awaited reunion as Anakin Skywalker made his live-action return alongside the former Jedi Knight, Ahsoka Tano. This event marks the first time these beloved characters have shared the screen in a live-action setting, despite their close relationship in the animated series, The Clone Wars.
Last night, the excitement reached a fever pitch as Midseason Fan Screening Events unfolded in select AMC theaters across the nation. The fortunate attendees in cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington, D.C., and Orlando gathered to witness the latest episode on the big screen. To celebrate the occasion Lucasfilm has shared a new TV spot that focuses on Ahsoka and Anakin’s relationship.

The star-studded cast of Ahsoka includes Rosario Dawson in the titular role, alongside Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ray Stevenson, Ivanna Sakhno, Diana Lee Inosanto, David Tennant, Lars Mikkelsen, and Eman Esfandi. Behind the camera, the series boasts a talented roster of directors, including Dave Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa. Dave Filoni also serves as the head writer and executive producer, alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck, while Karen Gilchrist takes on the role of co-executive producer.
