Beating out actors on such a level is quite impressive, as Dice Clay doesn’t have a lot of serious acting experience. He went on to speak about his first meeting with Cooper.
“We had a meeting on a Friday for three and a half hours, which I basically talked about my sons. I didn’t even know what the part might be. But Bradley is getting ready to play this rock star, and my kids are rock stars. We even played some of their album in my office. He was just letting me go.”
Dice Clay has had an up and down career, with a lot of that stemming from his vulgar stage persona as a comedian, As for the film, A Star is Born is a crowd-pleaser and will likely garner Oscar attention. The film is Certified Fresh on RottenTomatoes currently sitting at 95%.
