Angel Studios opens CinemaCon 2026 with five of their upcoming theatrical releases of its planned ten theater films. From animal stories to Cold War drama starring Jeff Daniesl as President Ronald Reagan and Academy winner J.K. Simmons as Secretary of State, George Shultz. There will also be a revisit of a John Wayne classic Angel and the Badman with Tommy Lee Jones.
The executive vice president and head of theatrical of Angel Studios, Brandon Purdie said, “Our 2026 slate is a celebration of what makes moviegoing matter – cinematic stories designed to be experienced together on the big screen, and it reflects our belief that the power of cinema lies in bringing people together for unforgettable, shared experiences.” With today’s slate presentation it demonstrates they are on route to achieve their mission. Animal Farm in theaters May 1st, 2026.

Directed by Jon Erwin and starring Golden Globe winners Kelsey Grammer and Mary-Louise Parker, Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley, and William Franklyn-Miller as a young George Washington.
