Another new TV spot for The Mandalorian Season 2. I’ll guess we are going to get quite a few of these showing up across the next couple of weeks. This TV spot is short, but also a little different from what we have seen. Before I get to that, here it is.
Now in terms of what is new, we have a voice-over from Moff Gideon. I’m not 100% sure whether this is new dialogue or this came from the final couple of episodes of Season 1. Chime in below in the comments if you have a better memory than I and I’ll update this accordingly. The shots are almost all new here, however the cuts are so quick it’s really hard to work anything out at all. We see some ships flying, some guns firing, and Mando doing an Iron Man style landing. What does this tell us about The Mandalorian Season 2? That the visuals and battle scenes are all on point, story wise though, nothing that I can discern.

Ok, so what am I going to talk about for the rest of this article? I’ll keep it short, but one thing is clear, these trailers and TV spots are unlikely to get very spoilery. Frankly, whilst fans are eager for new information about Season 2, no one wants to have the story spoiled in the marketing push. Also, Lucasfilm/Disney don’t have to. The Mandalorian Season 1 was a huge success despite very vague marketing, vague enough that ‘The Child’ was a complete mystery.
This time around we know a few things. It’s almost certain that Ahsoka Tano, possibly Sabine Wren, and more Rebels characters could show up. We also are pretty certain that Temuera Morrison is in Season 2 playing both Boba Fett and Captain Rex. Nothing is 100% confirmed though, and that means there are still many surprises expected from The Mandalorian Season 2.
