I already wrote about how we are maybe getting a little too much footage showing up already for Aquaman when the last TV spot hit. It seems that every week we get a new TV spot or a new trailer which shows us even more of the upcoming James Wan helmed DC movie.
The above Chinese version of the trailer certainly has a lot of footage that I haven’t seen in any of the other trailers so far. However, at the same time, I don’t feel any less inclined to want to see this on opening weekend. It just looks…Fun. You know, something that has been sadly lacking in any of the previous DCEU movies released so far, perhaps save Wonder Woman.

It seems to be working in terms of the trailer so far, but will it all fit together as a complete narrative? Well, we can’t say for certain right now, but we do know that early reactions to the movie on social media have been positive and the word fun has been used a lot. We don’t have too long now to wait for the movie to hit theaters and it will be even quicker when the critic reactions start hitting the web.
LRM will be trying to have a review ready for you lovely readers as soon as humanly possible, and let’s all hope that this turns out to be a step in the right direction for DC, they need it.
The trailers have sold me on the movie already, I just hope WB haven’t spent so much money on marketing this movie that they need an unreasonable amount of box office to turn a profit.
