Aquaman Figures Give Use Our First Look At Black Manta’s Comic Accurate Costume

Recently we have had a lot of information revealed about this winter’s Warner Bros. Pictures film Aquaman, directed by James Wan and starring Jason Mamoa, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Nicole Kidman. But as the film gets closer to it’s release date, we are sure to get more and more content revealed.

Yesterday for example, via a DC Collectibles YouTube channel we got a very good look at the comic book accurate suite that we will be seeing Abdul-Mateen wearing on screen. We cannot provide the link to the videos as they have since been removed. But the images of the figures are making their way through the web and you can check them out below!

As you can seen Black Manta has his traditional all black suite and will be equipped with swords. Not to mention the iconic UFO looking dome helmet with the red eyes that shoot optic laser blasts. He definitely looks like he is ready for a fight. I cannot wait to see this costume in action on the big screen.

Along with the Black Manta figure we also get the opportunity to get another look at Mera as well as Aquaman. One interesting note about the Aquaman figure is that he is wielding the Trident of Neptune.

Although we still don’t have too many plot details, we do know that the film will be exploring Arthur’s past as we see his development of his powers as well as his reluctance to accept his role as the King of Atlantis.
