God, I love the internet.
If you ever find yourself wanting to see two things you loved mashed up, there’s a good chance that someone else in the world also did, made that thing, and then posted on YouTube for everyone to find. Such is the case with the recent Aquaman trailer.
As we all know by now, with Aquaman’s character, they didn’t really think going the more traditional blond-haired, orange-and-green-wearing Arthur Curry we’ve all grown up reading and watching was the way to go. Instead, we got the long-haired beefcake himself Jason Momoa taking on the role, adding in a heavy dose of badassery that was missing — at least from the mainstream.

But if you’re still one of those hardcore classic fans who wishes blondie got a chance to prove himself on the big screen, then this new video may be up your alley. YouTube user Darth Blender took footage from The Super Friends and the Aquaman series from the 1960s and threw it over the audio from the recently-released Aquaman trailer.
The trailer may still have the same tone and style as the James Wan-directed film, but at least it has that classic cheap animation look we all grew up loving, right?
What do you think of this video? is this the Aquaman you’ve been waiting for?
