Arinzé Kene is Cal in the upcoming Amazon Original, I’m Your Woman. Cal had a corrupted past and now is called in for an owed favor. A favor that can cost him everything, including his life.
The Synopsis
Suburban housewife Jean (Rachel Brosnahan, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”) lives a seemingly easy life, supported by husband Eddie’s (Bill Heck) career as a thief. But when Eddie betrays his partners, Jean and her baby are forced to go on the run, and Eddie’s old friend Cal (Arinzé Kene, “The Pass”) is tasked with keeping them safe. After Cal mysteriously disappears, Jean befriends his wife Teri (Marsha Stephanie Blake, “Orange Is The New Black”) and the two women set out on a perilous journey into the heart of Eddie’s criminal underworld. A decidedly female take on crime dramas of the 1970s, I’m Your Woman is a tale of love, betrayal, motherhood — and what it takes to claim your life as your own.
Arinzé Kene was born in Nigera, but raised in London where he has a successful carrer. Today, Kene is a writer and performer. He’s last success in theater was for Misty, as both a performer and writer. Kene has been seen in the Netflix series, Crazyhead and the series, Flack. In addition, earlier this year he earned the lead role in “Get Up, Stand Up” for the West End musical production based on the music and story of Bob Marley’s life.
