Arrowverse ‘Elseworlds’ Set Photos Reveal Wayne Enterprises And Gotham City

Have we mentioned that the folks over at The CW are going all-out for their upcoming crossover set in the Arrowverse universe? If not (we have), we should probably mention it now. This crossover, called Elseworlds, is set to bring together numerous heroes, in addition to the titular Flash, Green Arrow, and Supergirl, we will see heroes like Superman and Batwoman show up in some shape or form.

Batwoman is an especially notable addition to the slate. Not only is she our first Gotham City hero in the Arrowverse, but she’s also the closest ties the shows have had to Batman. Sure, there’s been Suicide Squad and Deathstroke, but Batwoman literally has the name “bat” in her name, which goes a lot farther. Now, it looks like we’re also getting two big nods to the Caped Crusader himself: Gotham City and Wayne Enterprises, as revealed in a tweet from executive producer Marc Guggenheim.

Quite interestingly, Chicago was the same place director Christopher Nolan shot for Gotham City in his critically-acclaimed Dark Knight Trilogy. I can’t help but wonder if the city itself, or even Wayne Enterprises, will feel a lot like they did in those films. Though given how drastically different this TV universe is, probably not a lot. It’s still a cool nod, though.
