Atomic Blonde: Director David Leitch and Stunt Coordinator Sam Hargrave Talk Stunts in the Spy World

The magic behind all action films are the stunts.

LRM was invited to interview director David Leitch and stunt coordinator Sam Hargrave earlier this month to talk about the stunt development of Atomic Blonde.

The film is set in the Cold War late era of East Germany as Charlize Theron plays an elite MI6 lethal assassin Lorraine Broughton. She is sent on a covert mission into Berlin. She must use all of the spycraft, sensuality and savagery she has to stay alive in the ticking time bomb of a city.

The film also stars James McAvoy (Split), Sofia Boutella (The Mummy) and John Goodman (Transformers: The Last Knight).

Our special correspondent Shante DeLoach represented LRM during the interview and also participated in a very cool stunt demonstration.

Atomic Blonde is available on Blu-ray, DVD and digital download today.
