The Hating Game brings Austin Stowell in the new romantic comedy with co-star Lucy Hale.
The Synopsis
Based on the best-selling book, THE HATING GAME tells the story of ambitious good girl Lucy Hutton (Lucy Hale, “Truth or Dare”) and her cold, efficient work nemesis, Joshua Templeton (Austin Stowell, “Bridge of Spies”). Committed to achieving professional success without compromising her ethics, Lucy ultimately embarks on a ruthless game of one-upmanship against Josh, a rivalry that is increasingly complicated by her mounting attraction to him.

Austin Stowell from a young age knew he wanted an acting career. He attended the School of Fine Arts at the University of Connecticut. Stowell was a participant of several projects at the Connecticut Repertory Theater. The actor has been seen in films like Whiplash, Bridge of Spies, Battle of the Sexes and last year’s Fantasy Island. ABC’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Public Morals and HBO Max The White Lotus are a few of his television appearances.
