We’re back in Avengers: Doomsday Barside Buzz territory today. This time we have an insider claiming to confirm one popular recent rumor, but saying others are off the mark. This all comes from John Campea’s new YouTube video, see below. Though, If you don’t want to watch I have the highlights for you here.
So Campea claims that he and someone else in his team, know almost everything there is to know about the plot of Avengers: Doomsday. Now, many readers may demand some proof of this claim. However, we do have to remember that Campea is not actually a scooper. Therefore, it’s hard to define Campea against other insiders, which I’d normally do. Occasionally he drops something, but he normally says he is keeping a lot of information to himself.
Anyway, what Campea says is that one rumor he is willing to ‘confirm’ is the one that both Steve Rogers and Doctor Doom are on that Fantastic Four ship seen in the Thunderbolts* post-credit scene. However, he also warns his viewers that the reasons why Steve and Doom are on board, has not yet been leaked. He therefore warns people to be wary of scoopers claiming to reveal the reason why they are on board. There have been a few of those and Campea claims none of them have it right, so far.

Additionally though, Campea explains he’s had people ask him questions about he knows to be true. Therefore he estimate that the whole plot will have leaked by June, he is now revising to the end of March. Adding that some of the rumors that are out there (we’ve probably covered most of them) are true but he won’t say which as they have not gained much traction online yet.
Later in the show, the crew note that they know a couple of actors in this movie that they’re not telling people about. However, they expect both to be revealed long before the movie’s release the way things are going.

My two cents? Campea definitely has legit sources in the industry, no doubting that at all. Are those sources telling him the entire plot of Avengers: Doomsday to the point where he can verify and debunk rumors? I have no idea, but he’s probably got more information than I do, so we’re sharing his claims. You decide what you think about the Barside Buzz around Avengers: Doomsday and let us know below.
