According to new Barside Buzz, the Avengers: Doomsday trailer has over 30 different version for Marvel/Disney to choose from. The trailer is coming attached to Avatar: Fire and Ash in December. We’ve already reported rumors there were multiple version of the trailer and it remained to be seen which was chosen. However, now a new source says, it’s over 30 different cuts of the trailer.

On his latest show, see below, John Campea says he had originally heard there were over 20 version of the trailer. However, after reaching out to a good source, he was told the number was actually over 30. Apparently many of these were commissioned to different trailer studios in order that Marvel/Disney can choose the one they think will have the best impact on the public.

I think there’s enough hype for this film, that there does not need to be this much hype for the trailer. That being said, this is all coming from leakers, outside Collider who only gave the confirmation it was coming with Avatar. So if fans are expecting to be blown away by said trailer, it’s not really Disney’s fault on this one if they are a bit let down.

That being said, if this is true, then really all it has to do is stoke the hype for the film up. Nothing too long yet and nothing too revealing in terms of plot.

Disney really, really needs Doomsday to do Avengers numbers and not the current Marvel norm. Realistically Disney will be expecting this to outperform Deadpool & Wolverine at least, if not necessarily Spider-Man: No Way Home.

What do you think of this rumor that Marvel has over 30 versions of the Avengers: Doomsday trailer to choose from? Thoughts below.
