Ever since D23, when first footage for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War hit, audiences have been anxious for said footage to get an official public release (other than that crappy video recording footage). That never happened, and fans have never let Marvel Studios forget it.

Every waking chance they get, they pester the studio and the Russo Brothers about releasing another trailer. Whenever possible, the Russos would reply with a post of their own, encouraging them to be patient. This stuff doesn’t get made overnight, and the last thing they want to do is release a half-baked idea to the public, for fear of ruining their brand.

Yup, from the looks of it, it seems like an Avengers: Infinity War trailer is all but confirmed for Thursday of this week. That means we have less than two full days (assuming it hits at around 9 AM PST, as one would expect) until we get to see our heroes unite against the foe Thanos.

That being said, there’s no way of knowing just how in-depth they plan on getting with this trailer. Will we actually see footage of them uniting, or will it just be a mishmash of pieces set to come together? They could also throw a weird curveball by having the teaser follow Thanos, and allow us to get inside his head. It is, after all, just a teaser, and they have the flexibility to take a different approach with their marketing.
